Topic: Fraud NEVER goes away…it just moves around. In the landscape of Fraud and Financial Crimes, the "cheese" has moved again…in a big way.Â
In the late 90s, Spencer Johnson wrote the book, "Who Moved My Cheese" about adapting to change…that change is inevitable, and we need to anticipate change.Â
And while a goal of many fraud organizations is to keep the gap between their defenses and the fraudsters as small as possible, new technologies and a culture of fraud have, "moved the fraud cheese."
I believe we are at the beginning stages of an age of The Digital Industrialization of Fraud.  C-Suite Leaders must understand that the Fraud Cheese has moved, and the 'old ways' of thinking about fraud have changed. They must evolve their thinking and adapt (routinely investing) quickly…the sooner the better.
